What is a State Fair Hearing?

A State Fair Hearing is a review of your appeal that is done outside of TrueCare. If you do not agree with the decision of your internal appeal, you may file a State Fair Hearing. 

Request a State Fair Hearing

You must file your State Fair Hearing within 120 calendar days from the date of your internal appeal letter.  You, your doctor, or someone else can ask for a hearing. If someone is asking for a hearing for you, they must have your written approval.
