If You Need Counseling
We want you to get the help you need. You do not need a referral from your provider to get counseling.
Our 24-Hour Nurse Advice Line can also help you if you have an urgent health care need. You can call 1-833-687-7321 (TTY: 711) to talk with a registered nurse. We are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
If you or someone you care for does not speak English or has vision or hearing problems, we can help. We can get interpreters for you. You can also get materials in other formats like large print, braille, or audio.
Teladoc® offers counseling by appointment over the phone or computer from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. You can talk to a counselor for mental health or substance use disorder issues. You can talk to the same provider each time if you like. You can reach Teladoc at 1-800-835-2362 (TTY: 711).
If you need help finding a provider, please visit findadoctor.MSTrueCare.com. You can also call Member Services at 1-833-230-2050 (TDD/TTY: 711), Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time (CT). We want to make sure you get the right care as soon as you can. If you have a Care Manager, they can also help you find a provider.
Other Types of Care
Some types of mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) care need prior authorization (PA). If you need partial hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Treatment and other special outpatient care, home-based care and more, you will need a PA for this care. Your provider will get this for you.
